Disclaimer: As updates to Strive are released these articles will continue to be updated. These are not the final help documents. For printing purposes, you may want to wait until the final release date to print.
When teachers access Strive, the first view they will have is the Teacher Dashboard. This is the same view an appraiser will see when they select a teacher card from the Principal Dashboard. This view provides the teacher with access to view his/her goals, evaluation data, as well as connect to their Professional Learning Portfolio.
The initial view will open the Goals tab for viewing goals, actions, dimensions/standards tagged, and goal completion date. The status column on the left indicates with color the length of time toward completing the goal.
Teachers can select the New Goal button on the timeline bar to begin the new goal setting process.
The Show Archived Goals button at the bottom of the screen will access all previously submitted goals and include a button to Copy to New Goal to allow teachers to continue using previous goals as a template for new goal setting.
By selecting Evaluations, teachers can view all documented walkthroughs, observations, and evaluation data. By selecting a walkthrough or documented observation line item, they can view the appraisal information for the selected event.
Selecting an evaluation line item will reveal the details of the walkthrough, observation, or summative evaluation form.
Selecting the Professional Development tab allows teachers to access their Professional Learning Portfolio where they can view their completed credits, available courses for registration, as well as filtering tools to sort by credits and categories available in Workshop.
On the left side of the screen, teachers can view previous portfolio entries by school year. They can also click the Request Credit button to submit the process for approving credit requests.
On the right side of the screen, teachers can view upcoming courses they have enrolled in as well as use the Filter to search for new courses. A Register button is next to each available course for easy enrollment for new professional learning.
