**IMPORTANT** Activating Google Apps authentication will prevent users from being able to login with a Schoolobjects account. If you activate Google Apps with errors in the configuration setup, you will need to contact the Eduphoria support team to disable Google Apps authentication due to the fact that you won't be able to log in. Eduphoria's support team must be made aware of when your district is making the configuration change so they can be on standby.
NOTE: Does not support e-signatures at this time.
Google Apps authentication is optional and is hidden by default. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to enable the Google Apps configuration tab.
Google Apps Authentication allows using district G Suite accounts to authenticate to Eduphoria Apps. Google Apps Authentication is one of three directory integration options including, Eduphoria AD Remote Authentication, and SAML2.
How does it work?
Users must access Eduphoria using the districts specific URL ex (https://district.schoolobjects.com). When reaching the normal Login Screen, a single button will appear to sign in using Google. Clicking the button will bring up the Google Authentication window.
Authentication is performed on Googles servers. Eduphoria does not capture or track passwords for Google Accounts.
After authenticating with Google, you will be forwarded to the Eduphoria Applications screen. To log out, just click the Log Off button anywhere in the software.
