Test Proctoring When Teacher Is Unavailable

If a teacher is not available to proctor a test, another user may be designated a test proctor and may start/stop tests for that teacher. Users who have been assigned this right will see the Test Proctoring Administration button when logging into Aware. 

Anyone assigned this right will be able to access limited test administration options of teachers on their campus(es) by "impersonating" the Tests Available feature for those teachers. This includes

• printing plain paper answer documents, booklets, and reference documents,
• using third-party response pads, and
• online test proctoring.

Users can then select a staff member by choosing a campus in the drop-down menu or searching for the teacher whose test needs proctoring. 

Once the appropriate staff member is selected, the correct test can be chosen from the list of available tests. 

When the test is selected, the online test proctoring tab will show the start and stop buttons for proctoring tests. Learn more about test proctoring.
