Item Banks just became easier to manage

This feature makes Item Bank management so much easier! A preview of all changes made to manage Item Banks is available below, starting with a new interface for accessing Item Bank management options. 

Item Bank Questions

Choosing between Item Banks is easier by drop-down menu. Available Item Banks are sorted in order with the most questions at the top for the primary standard selected. 

Use the Filtering on the right of the screen to find the best choice for your Item Bank Question selections. Filters are now collapsed by default for easier viewing of all categories. 

Adding a Local Item Bank Question is easy and provides easy access to select Question Type, Complexity/DOK level, Language and more from settings on the item screen. 

Tagging keywords for easy searching and managing the security access to the Item Bank question are easy with the tabs across the top of the screen. 

Item Bank Resources

You can use Filtering on Resources using Genre, Lexile, Word Count, Language, and Learning Standard to find Resource selections.

Adding a Local Item Resource uses a similar interface for adding a Question with access to set Genre, Lexile, Word Count, and Language. Notice the similar tabs at the top for adding keywords for easy search and managing the security settings. 

Approve Pending Questions

The Approve Pending Questions screens have also improved with easier navigation to switch between Questions and Resources. The menu for Reject, Approve, Publish, Link to Resource/Question, Edit and Delete is available along each item waiting for approval. 

Understanding that some districts track approval and publishing separately, we created the option to allow the Item Bank approver the choice to approve before publishing if needed.
