Districts have choices. All Principals and Assistant Principals can have the Principal role. If all have principal role, all can do and see everything that each other is doing. No one can ever edit anyone else's evaluations. It can create an atmosphere of collaboration if all the administrators of a school can see all.
If a district wants to limit what Assistant Principals sees, then give Principals the Principal role. Then give APs BOTH the Vice Principal/Limited Appraiser and School Walkthrough Appraiser role.
