General Options is a separate section in the Manage tab which contains a collection of system wide settings.
This screen is divided into two parts, Requests and Messaging. Under Requests you can have the system show the Request/Ticket ID in every ticket list. This allows for easy reference of that ID when looking at tickets. You can also require staff to select a department BEFORE they see any request types. This is an extra step designed to prevent tickets from being submitted to the wrong department.
Under Messaging you can enable a daily summary email for campus approvers. This email will tell them they have so many requests awaiting approval.
