Note for District Test Creators
The following box must be checked for a district-level test to appear in Insight 360:
- Assessments tab
- Select the test you want to administer
- Administration tab
- Under the Student Response Pads heading, "Allow student response pad testing" must be checked for the test to show up in Insight 360
Launch Insight 360 software. This can be downloaded from eInstruction.
After you have downloaded the software, connect your Insight 360 software to SchoolObjects:aware. Click the gear in the upper-right corner to open My Settings.
Select Manage Plugins
- Check the SchoolObjects:aware by eduphoria! Inc. box
- Enter your SchoolObjects Username, Password, and District Web path (eduphoria! URL)
- Click Apply
- Wait for the system to validate your username and password
Next, connect to your rosters or classes of students. (This will import your students from SchoolObjects:aware and your student information system.)
Select the My Classes tab
Select Import from Plugin
Click Start Import
Wait for the system to retrieve information from eduphoria. The system will tell you when the import is complete.
Now, view your classes and rosters
Select the My Classes tab to view imported classes
Click on a specific class to view the students’ Last Names, First Names, Student IDs and Sticker IDs at the right.
To delete a class, select the specific class and then click on the Delete Class icon
To copy a class, select the specific class and then click the Copy Class icon
To add a class manually, click the Add Class icon
Select the Students tab to view imported students.
You can access tests created in SchoolObjects:aware
Select the My Tests tab
Highlight the class of students under Select Class.
Choose eduphoria! from the drop-down list under Select Test Type.
Choose the test you want to administer under Select Test.
Optional: Click on Attach Content File, browse for and attach the file for students to be able to view the test from their mobile devices. If you don't attach the file, then you will need to provide either a printed or displayed copy of the actual test for your students.
Click in the text box and begin typing to change the Session Name.
Check the User Timer box and use the arrows to set the number of minutes allowed.
Check Send scores to student devices at the end of the test so students can view their scores.
Click Start Test to begin the test administration.
A Session Code will appear, and students will enter this number into their mobile devices along with their Sticker ID which is assigned to them.
Click the Play button to begin the test for students. The timer will begin to track elapsed time.
Click Show Response Grid to view a grid of student iPad responses under Student View. This view will not show actual answers entered by students.
Click the Teacher View button to track students’ actual responses during the test.
Click Hide Response Grid to close the response grid.
Click End Test to stop the test for all students.
The following options will appear:
- Return to Test
- Close and View Results
The test results will be sent to eduphoria where you can view them in SchoolObjects:aware.
