Once the evaluation templates are created, appraisee templates need to be built or you will need to add them to your existing template. You will ideally have a different appraisee template for each way that you evaluate your staff. For instance, do you evaluate first year teachers and existing teachers differently? If so, you would most likely want a different template for each one.
As administrators select their staff to evaluate, they will assign them a certain appraisee template. Based on the appraisee template assigned to the staff member, the evaluator will be limited to certain evaluations, goals, interventions, checklists, etc. For example, the nurse appraisee template will need the nurse evaluation template and not a teacher template. The Appraisee Template option is located just below the Evaluation Templates option within Configuration Options on the Manage tab.
NOTE: You also have the option of grouping your Alternative Evaluations into an Appraisee Type that will serve many different positions such as a "Campus Support Staff" group. That way you will not have as many Appraisee Types. Just keep in mind to include all of the forms for that generic group when you assign the Evaluation templates.

Teachers on Waiver
If your district has elected to continue to use waivers for teachers so that every teacher does not have to go through the Full T-TESS appraisal, you can set your Appraisee Types up to help with that process.
