Announced April 2015
Facilities & Events Projects - Projects was a separate application that worked along with Facilities & Events. It has already been removed from all sites. This is the only feature of F&E that is being deprecated at this time.
Removal Summer 2015
Aware Campus Improvement Plans (CIP) - This was an extra feature in Aware to give schools the ability to build Campus Improvement Plans. We’ve found that it wasn’t quite robust enough for schools. Our goal is to provide a better ability to manage goals and progress in Strive.
Forethought Teacher Web Pages - Teacher web pages and the publishing functionality will be removed for any teacher lesson planners.
Forethought Technology Checklist - The Technology Checklist differs from the Lesson Checklists found in the Options Tab. The Tech Checklist is found in the lesson planner when the teacher chooses the icon of a computer in the top left corner area. That icon and information related to that will be removed.
The other checklists that are built by a Curriculum Manager are still available and will continue to be supported in Forethought.
Helpdesk Software Licensing - This is a simple component in Helpdesk that allows a technology department to document software licenses with renewal information. It is found on its own tab for Helpdesk managers. This is the only feature of Helpdesk that is being deprecated at this time.
Not Supported in Strive**
Workshop Shopping Cart - The shopping cart in Workshop is a feature that tracks the “purchasing” of “items” using earned credits from professional development activity. It will not be rebuilt in Strive. Once your district moves from Workshop to Strive, this information will not transfer.
