What is an eCourse?
An eCourse is a self-paced online course that allows staff members to complete course requirements in a virtual environment. eCourses include the ability to view media files and complete assessments to earn district credit.
How can eCourses be used?
You can create eCourses to deliver multiple types of professional Development to your users. You have the option of requiring direct grading by an instructor, or using self-grading options to make the courses self-paced.
You can create eCourses to cover the required material for annual compliance courses, such as Bloodborne Pathogens, Diabetes, Harassment, Acceptable Use, etc. One option is to create a course for each topic.
Another option would be to group all compliance topics as chapters in a single compliance course.
Subject Area Training
Courses can also be created to deliver subject or grade-level specific information that can be accessed by all teachers.
eCourses can be created to deliver any content needed by your district.
