Team Tests are essentially campus-level assessments created by teachers instead of campus users with administrator roles.
When a teacher shares a Teacher Test with a team, the test author makes the choice to share with a specific team and to select a specific campus-level Test Type. Limiting the available Test Types for Team Test assignment will keep teachers from accidentally assigning a Team Test to a District Benchmark Test Type.
To manage Test Types, District Aware managers will click on Configure Test Types on the Assessments tab. For more information, please visit the Configure Test Types article. The two configuration options that impact which Test Types appear when creating a Team Test are
- Can be used for Campus level testing (required for Team tests)
- Can be used for District level testing
If a district does not want a Team Test to be assigned to a district-level Test Type, then the district should not select Can be used for Campus Level testing as shown in the screenshot above.
By carefully managing district and campus-level test types, a variety of test authors can create assessments in Aware to fit any local assessment program.
