Please note: Three of the four Student Testing Supports for Online Testing (Text to Speech, Spelling Assistance, and Spanish Interface) are available now. Content Clarifiers is in development and has not been released. Until it is available, teachers will not see it as an option in Test Proctoring. HOWEVER, the ability to manage the supports saved for each student (as explained in this article) is available now, and saved supports DO show up for teachers to view in Student Profile pages.

In Aware, teachers are able to turn on or off individual Student Testing Supports for Online Testing in their Test Proctoring tool. The Supports used (or not used) for each test administration are unique to that individual administration.
School and District Aware users with the right to "View Student Tests" have this access. This right is part of both the Principal and District Data Viewer roles.
To mass upload and assign testing supports for students, go to the Students Tab in Aware. Then select Upload Student Support Status in the bottom left navigation pane. You can then upload a .csv file. An example .csv with the necessary column headings is attached at the bottom of this article.
To assign testing supports manually by student, go to the General Tab on the Student Profile for that student, select the checkboxes, and then select Update.
In the .csv template attached below, place a "1" in each field to have the support activated (turned on) for the student and a "0" to leave the designated support deactivated (turned off).
