Goal setting is the initial start of the evaluation process. It is sometimes completed at the end of the previous appraisal year or the start of the new school year. Goals have a lifecycle of steps from creation to archive.
Quick Guide:
- Select My Evaluation Process on the left navigation panel to access your evaluation tasks.
- From the list of tasks (Observation, Walkthrough, Evaluation, etc.), select the drop-down arrow on the right to open the container related to goal setting.
- Select the (+) button next to the task of writing a professional goal.
- In the form that appears, enter your information relating to your goal and select the Save button.
- Make additional edits and/or use the embedded Messaging tool with your appraiser to clarify your goal before submitting it.
- When ready, select the Submit for Approval button on the top menu.
