Creating a Multiple Selection Question
To create an interactive item type, begin by either creating a new test in Aware or navigating to an existing test. TEA suggests multiple selection for use in mathematics, reading, language arts, and science assessments, but multiple selection is available for any assessment. Multiple selection follows TEA's examples and may be used in conjunction with text, images, and tables.
Note: An assessment with a multiple selection question will remain print and online friendly with multiple choice, numerical response, constructed response, and resource items. Creating an interactive item type eliminates the possibility of printing an assessment.
1. Select Interactive Item Types from the options.
2. Select Multiple Selection from the available question types.
3. Enter the question text, answer choices, and any required standards information. Use the checkmark boxes to indicate correct answers.
