Users can create and manage data views within Aware Beta or Aware Classic.
Navigating to Data Views in Aware Beta
Quick Guide
- Log in to Aware Classic, and click on Try Aware Beta.
- Under Analysis, select Data Views.
- Users will select Configure Data View. Campus-level and district-level administrators can select the Analyze Tests option. Users like department chairs and subject-specific instructional coaches can select the Analyze Subject option. Grade-level chairs, especially those in elementary schools, will have access to the Analyze Grade Level option. Users who have rostered class periods or approved monitor lists can choose All My Students, a specific Class Period, or any approved Monitor List to configure a data view.
- Use the arrow to choose which Quick View template to apply to the selected assessment. Select Continue.

Step 1: Log in to Aware Classic, and click on Try Aware Beta.
Step 2: Under Analysis, select Data Views.
Step 3: Users will now select Configure Data View. Analyze Tests is a common option for campus-level and district-level administrators. Analyze Subject is a common option for department chairs and subject-specific instructional coaches. Grade-level chairs, especially those in elementary schools, will have access to the Analyze Grade Level option.
Users who have rostered class periods or approved monitor lists can choose All My Students, a specific Class Period, or any approved Monitor List to configure a data view.
Note: Users can also select Configure Data View from the Overview page.
The following filters can be applied to search for a specific assessment:
- Years
- Grades
- Subjects
- Test Types
Use the search bar to Filter by Title, or Reset Filters at any point.
Step 4: Use the arrow to choose which Quick View template to apply to the selected assessment. Select Continue.
Users can now see their data view for the selected assessment. Note that the layout of the data view is the same in Aware Classic.
